Description of the project
The thermonet of Bromarken, stage A, was the first thermonet project by the company Lind & Risør, who afterwards went on to establish the termonet of Bromarken, stage D and Rendebjergvænget, Tune. The thermonet was incorporated in the price of the house and property for the new owners, hereby making the thermonet owned in parts by each household. A small heating association is in charge of servicing the thermonet, while each household are in charge of their individual heat pump. A total of 49 townhouses are a part of stage A at Bromarken, each with an individual heat pump. The outer part of the thermonet is made up of six vertical geothermal boreholes of 150 meters depth. Next to the drillings is a communal pumping station which is supplementing the circulation pump in each individual heat pump. The thermonet as a whole is a closed circuit. The brine is a combination of 70% water and 30% IPA.

Highlights of the project
The thermonet has been an especially suitable heating solution to the area, as it could be implemented into the planning form the start. The heat pumps of the thermonet are smaller and less noisy than a solution of only individual heat pumps.
The biggest challenges / obstacles
There has been som challenge regarding air in the brine of Stage A, which can probably be solved in other projects by securing sufficient circulationflow. A consequence of lack of ventilation is air plugs, which can shut down heat pumps.
